Bento Fun #17

This was the snack Bento Darrius has on Monday. He woke up pretty early again and he gets hungry earlier if that happens. Normally I will give him his morning snack around 11 or 11.30am which can last till dinner time (he will skip lunch). I will give him a bottle of milk before or after his nap time if he is hungry again which don’t normally happen.

.

Big and small Pooh Bear Cheese sandwiches (small flower shaped too at the corner) with flower shaped pear and Sesame Seeds crackers

.

Some of you asked me what do I do with all the left over from the bread? To be frank I try to maximize my piece of bread. Meaning, I will plan how I want to cut so there will be space for smaller cutters which I will use a pick to put them together. Thus, I don’t have to eat too much of the left overs! After a while you will know how many shapes can be yeiled from that slice of bread so you can continue with the same thing next time.
Also, I don’t just chuck the entire slice of cheese on the bread but rather cut them into 4 sections and carefully place them in the centre of the cutter so they are within the cut area. Darrius don’t like to eat plain bread as it is flavorless so I must apply something or I will have to eat the left over again!

i thought you cut the cheese with the cutter too? i means same size as the bread.

The cheese is always smaller than the bread so have to play jigsaw puzzle lor to make sure every cut out also contain cheese.
