100Yen Shop in Penang!

Finally!

Last Friday, we went to check out the newly open Sunshine Mall in Far Lim. The place was ok but it was a case of ‘quick job’ so it was not up to standard to be called a Mall… just a hypermart kind of set-up. Their flooring on the ground floor is still only cement and no tiles!

Anyway, that is secondary… what caught my eyes the moment I went in was 100Yen Shop! Finally the came here but sad to say it is a very small one and there isn’t any significant Bento collection after a quick scan around the store.

However, at least there’s one here now so probably I’ll try to find out who is the boss and tell him/her to bring in more Bento stuff. 100Yen is a franchise so each store is managed by different boss and so will the stock since every boss will order what they think will be a top seller. Correct me if I’m wrong…
