Bento Fun #120 – Happy St. Patrick Day!

I am not an Irish and in Malaysia St. Patrick Day is not a holiday either so not many people will remember or celebrate this festival. I was on MSN with my hubby this morning as he is still in Arizona and he told me tomorrow is a public holiday in the US but he still need to catch his flight home at 6am in the morning. So glad that he is finally coming home!

The 2 little rascals woke up very early today so my plan of doing a bento in the morning was dashed. Glennedine was very tired around 9+am but the barking of our neighbor’s dog kept her waking up! So annoying! I only managed to pat her back to sleep after giving her a bath around 11am. And I start my bento adventure again.

To commemorate St. Patrick Day, I came up with a bento (though this was not the original idea I had!) which was green, green, green!

I used my only green bento box and had 2 bunnies (with loop sided ear and eye!) which was a last minute idea as I wanted to do little bears at first but thought bunnies will be something new.

There are 2 sets of bread with cheese sandwiches with chicken cocktails bunnies (details using cheese and nori). A chicken cocktail heart with baby carrot (used broccoli for stems), yellow cherry tomatoes, broccoli and a strawberry.

Made a small clover leaf flag at the last minute before snapping the photo but Darrius came running and complaint that he was hungry so in a hurry, I did not notice the loopsided ear and eye!
