Bento Fun #143
Since I have some extra rice from the onigiri bento I made for Darrius yesterday, I decided to use the balance to make a bento for myself for dinner! Came across these triangular shape onigiri from some where, some Japanese characters if I’m not mistaken, so thought I’ll try to make them just for fun. 
I was searching up and down in my many boxes but can’t find a triangle rice mold! So, I molded them free-hand instead! You can see their thickness varies!
It was not so easy to mold rice into triangular shape compared to just doing the regular round balls. I have problem controlling the amount of rice to get a standard size so I just make do! Decorated them with nori.
In the box, there are some oyster sauce chicken wings, some steamed pork with fermented soy beans, some pearl corn strips, broccoli, cherry tomato and some strawberries.
The thing was, I felt funny eating them! 
Maybe I’m not used to eating cute looking stuff! Anyway, I will do more in the future if time permits!

Guess you have too big pile of bento gears, that your triangle onigiri mold must be hiding somewhere down there!
Anyway, your free hand mold still look nice, I didn’t really see the size difference! Love them! I never make myself kyaraben too! Maybe should try yeah.
