Bento Fun #160 – Lovey Dovey Bears
Gosh! It’s Monday again! How time flies eh?
Today hubby is having his replacement off day as last Saturday was the Penang Governor’s birthday. He was supposed to go to the driving range but decided to cancel it as they only open at 10.30am… he said too late and too hot!
Good for me so I have an extra pairs of hands to help me with Baby G!
Last weekend, Darrius found his little rubber bear and was playing with it most of the time especially during bed time (I think he is treating his bear like Mr. Bean’s!) after watching Mr. Bean on Saturday! I know Mr. Bean is not a very good role model for kids since he likes to do all those stupid things but Darrius just loves to laugh like a mad fella each time he watches those shows. I just hope he don’t immitate him!
For that, he asked for bears to be in his bento box last night before he went to sleep and bears are what he got in his box today!
There are two lovey-dovey bears cheese sammies with details made of cheese, nori and carrot. Some blueberries on skewers, strawberries and golden tomatoes in the box.
Oh yeah, if you noticed there is a water mark in the centre of the photo, which was done by Darrius’s daddy. He is learning how to use PhotoShop so I gave him his first project… So, what do you think?
Still rooms for improvement! I told him to improve on it further so we’ll see what he’ll come out with tomorrow!

This is cute, and I always like that set of cutters
My boy love Mr. Bean too! I never let him watch that at home because worry he might follow those stupid acts, but I can’t control him over nanny’s place, aiks.
I think all boys our sons’ age love Mr Beans coz they knew how to laugh at stupid acts! I agree with you about not able to control them when they are in nanny’s place. Even I have difficulties controlling Darrius at home when he insist of wanting to watch his shows.
Lovely bears! So cute with those picks … and hope you and your husband will have some fun with Photoshop. I hope my husband will do that for me hehehe …
Thanks Lia! Maybe you can hint to your hubby to help you too!
I love the bears and the watermark!! I wanna make a watermark too leh.. but don know how..
Btw, wat did u use to stick the bears’ muzzle on? Looks so firmly stuck on… don know y mine sometimes slide off leh??
Tona, I don’t have problem with them coz I use a different brand of cheese now! The Kraft cheeses are too hard and dry and that was why they always fell off! I am using either Ballantine or Melbourne now as they are softer and will stick better.
You want me to give the watermark project to my hubby? hehehehe Let me know what you’ll like to have but no quarantee that it will come out the way you want it!
