Bento Fun #168 – Mouse-katour
I did not fix any bento for Darrius to bring to school but I made him a semi-bento lunch. I did another tutorial on making cocktail sausage mouse (will post it up later as I need to touch up the photos first), so to use up the little mouse, I put it into Darrius’s lunch of home made noodles sprinkled with some prawn furikake.
This mouse is similar to the one I did earlier except that this time I have some spare time to cut nori whiskers and attached to it’s muzzler.
I added a sunny side up for him before serving him the plate of noodles and he was very happy and exclaimed ‘Mouse-katour!’ upon seeing the little mouse hiding at the corner. He loves Mickey Mouse Club House at the moment and that ‘mouse-kataur’ is a word they used in the show… not too sure what it means!

I think he meant “Mouseketools”. It’s a group of tools used to help Mickey & the clubhouse friends to solve the problems of d day. Each individual episod has it’s own set of Mouseketools.

What a cutie nose on the mouse! BTW, I like the way Darrius takes the egg. My kids still don’t like eggs like this.

Thanks shoppingmum!
Yes, darrius loves sunny side especially when the tolk is gooey!
Funny thing he don’t like hard boiled eggs and that is why you seldom
see me making any hard boiled eggs for him.
eh, u forced him to smile ahh……hahaha, so cute of him
looks like maggi mee goreng, my boys’ favourite
Hahaha… yalor! Coz he always do those funny face each time I asked him to smile!
This one is maggie mee but without the seasonings. I used my own sauce (soya, black sauce & sesame seed oil)
and add a little of furikake for taste. You can do that for your boys too!
