Bento Fun #178 – *Honk* *Honk*
Hurray! TGIF everyone! Finally we reached the end of weekday.
Don’t know why I have been looking forward to weekends lately. Previously, everyday seems to be the same for me but now weekends mean I can go out and have some time to myself though I have to lug Baby G along! Yeah, hubby will take care of Darrius while I go out with the baby. It is tough to bring the 2 kids out on my own.
Today I felt like having some noodles for lunch so I packed some noodles for Darrius whom also enjoyed noodles. He has also been asking for sausages after flipping some of my bento books so thought I’ll do something cute using these sausages. I try not to let him have these processed food too often so I limit to only once or twice a week.

I cooked some air-dried noodles and mixed with some home-made sauces, olive oil and sprinkled some prawn flavored furikake for him. The deco for today – race cars! It was supposed to be roller coaster but I don’t have time to do the rail so changed them to race cars instead!
Used the sausages for the ‘cars’ and the ‘boys’ while endamame were used as wheels. Stuck a flower carrot in front for colors. Details on boys’ face are nori (used punchers) and cheeks were dabs of ketchup (finally bought a bottle!).
There are some endamame skewers, slices of orange, some golden cherry tomatoes, a red cherry tomato (hidden), some grapes (hidden) and a strawberry.
Not sure what we are going to do for the next two days but I hope I get some rest.
Hop you’ll have a great weekend ahead!
.
p/s: Remember to hop over to Susan’s site for a chance to win her 2nd book!

Thanks Kuusou! It was supposed to be roller coaster as there are no streering wheels! But I changed
last minutes so not enough time to make the streering wheels!
Kawaii!
lovely boys on the raising car! super cute!
Thanks Karen!
This is such a great idea! Those little guys in their cars look super happy. I bet Darrius was thrilled.
And it seems like a very healthy lunch too!
