Bento Fun #211 – French Toasts with Banana Skewers
So, I still have half a loaf of the bread and can’t think of anything to do with them until this morning. Decided to make some French toasts as it has been ages I did that! There are still some bananas on the table which I bought for Baby G but they are getting ripe so I better use them up fast! Was a tad bit ambitious thinking of baking some banana cupcakes but killed the idea when the back starts to hurt again and to avoid getting scolding from the hubby!
And that was how we have a bento for Darrius this morning…

Simple French toasts with banana on skewers! This was a no brainer and they were quick to do too! And using that little car baran/deco really brigthen up the entire bento! 
Not to mention using the Lightning McQueen box was so matching too! Along with the French toasts banana skewers, I slot in a strawberry and a Mini Hanuta (chocolate hazelnut in waffle sandwich) which my mother in law brought back from Germany. These are my favorite ever since I tried them when I was in Germany a few years back. Every year my mother in law will buy these for me when she goes to Germany to visit my sister in law. I think Darrius will ‘wake up’ when he sees that packet of Hanuta!

I thought of French toast because when I have uncut white bread in the house I like to make those extra thick French toast

Yes, it is always nice to have some French toast once in a while
but they can be so sinful… when lapped up with butter and maple syrup!!
Agree with everyone, the car baran is just too cool. It makes the bento match perfectly with the Lightning McQueen on the box lid
