Bento Fun #241 – Little Peas in the Pod
The loud bombing last night lasted more than 2 hours! Baby was woken up by the loud noise around midnight so I brought her down to watch the fireworks too. Some of our neighbors released countless big fireworks and it kept me wonder how much they spent on them???!!
Darrius was having so much fun last night as he too went to play with some sparklers while watching the firework display. He was afraid of playing the sparklers initially as he was afraid that the fire can burn his fingers but I managed to persuade him to try and he loved it once he overcame his fear! Before that he only dares to play with the small Pop-Pops fire crackers which will pop when it landed on hard ground.
Due to the late night, all of us woke up late this morning. Hubby is on leave today as he has to go for a medical check-up at the hospital. For that, he was late waking me up thus I have to drag myself out of bed…
Not much ideas when I was in a zombie state this morning so can only managed to make this small bento…

I love this pea pod silicon cup as it is so darn cute! Bought it a while back from Bento & Co and only started it using recently. I made some bread onigiri filled with grape jelly. The features on the onigiri are cut out from filamen stick, lunch sheet and nori. The sides are some boiled edamame, cherry tomatoes, orange wedges and a gold coin chocolate.
And TGIF! So fast it is the end of the week! *yeah*
Wishing all of you a great weekend ahead!

Yes… this pod cup is soooooooo irresistible!!!
ahaha…. even if it’s simple, indeed it’s still cute and adorable. I love bento and admire people who uses time creatively to make such an art in the food. Well, keep it up! =) Oh by the way, you might like to try the stainless steel tiffin bento box as an alternative to plastic containers. Stainless steel are much safer than plastic ones. Also, The stainless steel tiffin bento box is very affordable, durable, eco-friendly and a very ultimate lunch box. =) try it. You’ll love it.
Thanks Ara for popping by!
We have stainless tiffin boxes here too but
they are a little too big for snacks so
will keep that when we pack for the family.
