Bento Fun #266 – Grape Jelly Daisies Bento
Yesterday Darrius’s class teacher called me after the break time to inform me that Darrius was still having fever and asked me to go pick him up. I brought him home, cleaned him up, gave him a dose of paracetamol and tucked him into bed right away. And was relieved that his fever subsided after he woke up.
He told me he did not finished his bento as his teacher told him not to eat too much. Actually he finished almost everything only leaving some small part of the sammies and the edamame. Was glad his fever was under control for the rest of the day though he was a little ‘manja’ the whole afternoon.
This morning he refused to wake up saying he still needs to sleep. *o* Since he has no fever, I chased him off the bed! 
I was not sure if his fever will decide to visit again so I dare not pack too much for him and decided to give a light snack box…

Made two daisies sammies with grape jelly using the bread crust for the top layer as I was using the raisin oatmeal loaf. He likes the grape jelly very much which was the balance from our McD Big Breakfast meals last month. Yeah, there was a craze here where McD was giving away 2 free Big Breakfast with a minimum spending of RM5 during breakfast. We went a total of 3 times last month! Don’t think we’ll want any McD breakies for a while! 
I added the pearl cherry tomatoes in the centre for color contrast purposes. Nothing fancy. There are some pearl cherry tomatoes and blueberries skewers as well as a yellow cherry tomato to fill up all the gaps.
He finished the bento and so far his fever has not come and look for him…

What a cute bento! Oh man, how did lil P’s fever got to Darrius?! hehe. well Iam glad that yours is better. Funny thing is, my little one was also very sleepy after his fever went down. but instead of chasing him off the bed like you, I let him sleep. He slept for a total of 15 hours! He’s been sleeping alot more now and we think he’s on a growing spurt. You should measure Darrius now and check on him in two weeks. That’s what we did! hehe!!

This boy of mine will refused to have his nap in the afternoon but
will start to doze off during dinner time… if I let him nap he will not
want to sleep later in the night and insist on playing till 10pm and
will refused to wake up around 7+ in the morning.
I hope it is a grow spurt coz he is just too small size for his age!!

Glad to know that Darrius are feeling good now…weather very hot now, need to drink more water.
