Bento Fun #267 – Rilakkuma & Friends Bento

I was woken up my my little monster this morning around 3am! She wanted a feed so I gave her and after we are done she refused to go back to sleep! Instead, she wanted to play!!! She roll here and there and decided to go wake her brother up but the brother was so dead tired that he did not budge! Then she thought, maybe daddy will want play! She jumped over to her daddy and kept calling him! *bang head on the wall* The daddy answered her but was quick to go back to zzzland and so the little monster decided that she should also go back to zzzland after rolling here and there! Too bad the mommy can’t go back to sleep after that! Boohoohoo!

Therefore, I decided to come down instead but with a groggy brain!

The night before while I was flipping through some bento books, Darrius came to me and I joked that I want to make him a Hello Kitty bento and he gave me the ‘YUCK!’ answer. I asked him why he don’t want a Hello Kitty bento and he said, ‘Hello Kitty is for girl lah!’ hahhaahaha So, at the end we decided on Rilakkuma…

This is my second Rilakkuma bento and the first was done just a while back. Gotta make full use of the cutters! Went to get a loaf of white bread last night so I can make these cute bears! For Rilakkuma, I used the balance bread crust from the Oatmeal raisin bread. Ko-Rilakkuma and Kitori are white bread. All are triple-deck grape jelly sammies with Kitori having a piece of yellow lunch sheet on it since I don’t have yellow bread

There are a few plum wedges with some pearl cherry tomatoes and blueberries to fill up all the space. If you’ve noticed, I am using the newly (well, not that new actually!!!! Bought it like months ago!!!) acquired Rilakkuma bento box which I got from Bento Craft. I always have feeling Darrius will break the cover hence I dare not use it but can’t just let it sitting there and collect dust… can I?
