*Travel Insurance*
Sometimes we just have to expect the unexpected.
All these while we never purchase any travel insurance when ever we travel and so far we have been lucky that nothing major happen… not until this trip! Yes, how ‘lucky’ right????!!!!
I had a hunch that something might happen thus told hubby to consider getting the travel insurance for the kids since we are bringing both of them. Hubby was confident that nothing will happen and that was oh so wrong cause, Darrius got the worst eye infection! Both his eyes swell up and one of it was so swollen that it looked as if it was going to burst! It was scary and worrisome for us.
Luckily I was staying at my friend’s place and she helped us a lot in looking for medical attention. Things are definitely different here comparing to Malaysia… they don’t have 24 hours clinics or doctor on standby here! We have to bring Darrius to the Urgent Care and later on to an eyes specialist to get treatment.
Not sure if we could claim back the medical cost from our other insurance. But I am definitely going to check out http://www.wholesaleinsurance.net/ before travelling!
