Bento Fun #306 – Bacon & Egg in Sandwich Thin

Today is an important day for me as I have to resist for my computerized driving test as well as the Hazard Perception test before I can go ahead and get my practical driving test done next month. Have to do all these because I can’t get my Western Australia and Malaysian driver licence converted. *sigh* However, I’m glad I managed to get through both tests! :D

Since I was a little excited about the tests this morning, hence I woke up earlier than normal. Made breakfast (have been making breakfast since we moved here since hubby can’t just walk to the hawker/foodcourt to pack food!) for everyone so everyone will be filled up! :lol:

Bought some sandwich thins from Coles yesterday so thought I should make something with them!

Pan fried some bacons so I kept a small portion for Darrius’s bento which I decided to fry an egg to make the sandwich. Darrius loves eggs of late so he was very happy when he saw his bento this morning. :P  Included in the bento are a few wedges of white nectarine, a cherry tomato and some blackberries. Gave him an Uncle Toby’s yogurt top cereal bar (not in photo) as well and told him that he can have the sandwich for both breaks if he wanted to.

    This is really cute and simple! If I may ask – what type of box are you using for the bento? I keep trying to type it in for a store search but my mind keeps forgetting. ^^;

      Thanks Aiko! The box I used is called a sandwich box which can collapse into a flat rectangle when not in use. You can get an idea from here… http://www.bentocraft.com/product.php?pid=946&pg=2&br=&ct=6&search= and http://www.bentocraft.com/product.php?pid=416&pg=6&br=&ct=6&search=
